SEVARcleanair+ BF. Biological exhaust air treatment.
The biological filter serves to trap particles and aerosols, while the biologically active substances in the air are both absorbed and adsorbed. The trapped odorous components are biologically transformed into carbon dioxide and water for emission.
Due to its functional modular design, the SEVARcleanair BF can be quickly and easily installed. As pre-treatment, the odour-laden air is humidified and blown into the base layer of the unique SEVARcleanair BF. The base layer is inert and provides for efficient air distribution preventing the formation of anaerobic conditions. The air is thus distributed through the biologically active media composed of bark, reclaimed active compost media with other constituents chosen specifically for each application.
The modular biofilter units are well proven to remove a wide spectrum of biodegradable compounds with concentrations of up to 100 ppm.
