Mammoth rotors are horizontal surface aerators to suit oxygenation channels. The hollow shaft is fitted with aeration blades indication a high pressure on the front side which is transformed into kinetic energy (longitudinal flow). On the back side a partial vacuum is created which effect the drawn of air in fine bubbles beneath the water surface.
