Chamber filter presses are separating solids from liquid by mechanical method. The result is a stiff dry cake which condenses just a little bit of residual moisture.
The filtrate of the liquid is near free of solids. Depending on the type of sludge (organic or mineral) a dry solid content from 40 % up to 80 % is possible.
